Period of Online Pre-registration and Payment

August 15, 2019 – January 15, 2020, 15:00 (JST)

※Non-PSJ member organizers and speakers of symposium DO NOT NEED Pre-registration, as the information to be registered has already been submitted in the proposal form of the symposium.

How to Register

• If you would like to make a pre-registration, please download “Pre-registration Form” and fill in the blanks.
  ※ Please register individually.
• Please send the filled form to the following e-mail address. patphys@oita-u.ac.jp
• The confirmation on completion of registration will be sent to registered e-mail address. Please check through those registered data once to see if it is correct. If there are any mistakes or not receiving confirmation, please inform the secretary office at patphys@oita-u.ac.jp.
• For domestic PSJ members:
  The pre-registration is officially completed by (1) submitting your basic information and (2) completing the payment of registration fee.
  
  Please pay the appropriate amount of registration fee within one week from the reception of the confirmation on completion of registration. Otherwise, your pre-registration will be expired, and you need to register On-site. Please refer to the “How to pay” section below for the details.
  
  The entry pass (including the receipt of payment) and a program booklet will be sent to your registered address in late February, 2020.
• For attendees from abroad:
  The confirmation is necessary for attending the meeting. Therefore, please printout this e-mail and bring it to the registration desk in the venue. Please pay registration fee ON-SITE in Japanese YEN (JPY). The payment by credit card is not acceptable. The entry pass (including the receipt of payment), a program booklet and an abstract booklet will be provided at the on-site registration desk.

Notes to the student attendees

All attendees of undergraduate, graduate (doctoral or master’s courses) and vocational college students require a certification by supervisor to validate your status as student. Without a certification, you will be registered as either PSJ member or non-member.

For undergraduate and vocational college students from both domestic and abroad:
The registration fee is free. Please fill in the following Student Certification Form, obtain a signature of the supervisor and submit it by E-mail to the secretary office at patphys@oita-u.ac.jp, after you register online.

For the graduate students from domestic:
You need to pay registration fee. If you use a Japan Post Bank remittance slip, provided either in the Journal of the Physiological Society of Japan Vol. 81-3 (Aug. 1, 2019) or at post office, for payment, please include the information of supervisor’s name and affiliation and his/her signature in the correspondence section. If you pay online, please fill in the following Student Certification Form, obtain a signature of the supervisor and submit it by E-mail to the secretary office at patphys@oita-u.ac.jp.

For the graduate students from abroad:
You need to fill in the following Student Certification Form, obtain a signature of the supervisor and submit it by E-mail to the secretary office at patphys@oita-u.ac.jp, after you register online.

※ Student attendees are highly recommended to complete Pre-registration. You need a certification by supervisor even at on-site registration. This would be laborious at the on-site registration desk.

※ Non-PSJ member organizers and speakers of symposium are free for registration.

※ Please note no refund will be provided for any reason once you pay the registration fee.

How to Pay

<For Attendees from abroad, both pre-registration and on-site registration>

Please pay the adequate amount of registration fee in Japanese YEN (JPY) at the on-site registration desk.

For attendees with pre-registration, please bring your registration ID for proper handling.

<For Attendees from domestic>

• Please note that Pre-registration ID must be indicated when transferring the payment.
• The registration fee for the attendees of undergraduate and vocational college students is free. These attendees DO NOT NEED to pay the registration fee. However, they NEED to submit a certification by supervisor as indicated in the “Notes to the student attendees“ section above.
• Pre-registration fee can be paid using the Japan Post Bank remittance slip provided in The Journal of Physiological Society of Japan, Vol. 81-3 (Aug. 1, 2019). Please fill in the slip as instructed on it. The graduate students of master’s or doctoral courses also need to provide the supervisor’s name and affiliation and his/her signature in the correspondence section.
• The Japan Post Bank remittance slip provided at the post office can be used to transfer the payment. In this case, please include the Pre-registration ID in the correspondence section. The graduate students of the master’s or doctoral courses need to provide the supervisor’s name and affiliation and his/her signature there. In the payer section, please provide the registered name and address as well as phone number, which could be reached during the daytime.
  

  ※ Please note that the transaction fee must be paid by the sender.

  ※ Please keep the slip for your record.

• Yucho Direct (Internet banking) or other financial institutions’ remittance methods (e.g., tellers, ATMs, Internet banking) could be used. In this case, please be sure to enter the Pre-registration ID before the transfer client name.

  ※ Without the Pre-registration ID, it would be difficult to match the payment to the registered information.

  ※ The graduate students of the master’s or doctoral courses NEED to submit a Student Certification Form as instructed in the “Notes to the student attendees“ section above.
